The stainless steel balls roll the smoothest of the 3 options and release the least amount of oil. You will vaguely see the oil on the skin.
The glass balls fit the tightest in the encasing of the 3 options. Some customers feel they do not release any oil, however because they are a tight fit, they just need a little TLC and love to get them rolling. They release a mid-amount of oil.
The orifice reducer in your EO bottles have a small air hole that allows the oil to flow more freely. The orifice reducers in the drams do not have this, making it a little more difficult to release the oil, but it is also less likely to leak.
How to use: Remove the cap, turn the bottle upside down and gently give it a tap on the bottom a few times. Keep in mind that the orifice reducers in the drams are different than the ones in essential oil bottles.
Our roller balls are designed to fit our 5ml and 10ml roller bottles. They are the same balls that dōTERRA uses on their bottles and yes, they should fit dōTERRA’s bottles. HOWEVER we can not guarantee that they will fit as neck sizes vary from bottle to bottle.
5 ml… we joke. We always recommend the 10ml rollers for personal use (so you do not need to constantly make a specific blend), while the 5ml rollers are the perfect size to give away samples of blends or as incentives/prizes.
Yes they can! We usually reuse our roller bottles with the same (or complementary) blends. If you choose to switch the blends and do not wish to purchase new bottles, here is our recommendation for cleaning them: soak the separate pieces in a bowl of hot water with a ¼ cup of baking soda and a tbsp of cleaner concentrate (or castile soap). Rinse and refill!
The 1/4 drams are 1ml and are great for a 100% pure sample of essential oil. The bottle will hold about 20 drops of oil. The 5/8 drams are 2ml and are really nice to give a diluted sample of essential oil or a blend.
Our sprayer tops and lotion pumps are designed to fit several different sized bottles, which is why the hose (plastic straw) is extra long. Just trim the hose to size (the descriptions on the website will specify which spray tops/lotion pumps will need to be trimmed).
In short, yes, the fractionated coconut oil does expire. The expiry date listed on the bottle is required, but FCO has a very long shelf life, generally speaking (approximately 2-3 years, and does not require any special storage). We recommend you to not ingest the oil because it is processed in a facility where other products are processed, such as butters and waxes.

We recommend roller bottles! We use 10ml roller bottles for personal use so that the blend does not need to be made as often. To go along with the rollers, you will need some fractionated coconut oil (FCO) to mix the blends. Our Usage Guide is an affordable resource for beginners (or even experienced EO users).
We cannot guarantee our products with the use of essential oils or carrier oils. Depending on the ingredients or amount of oils in your mixture, your trigger/mister tops may deteriorate quicker than expected or clog. We recommend using an emulsifier in your mixture to keep the oils suspended and away from the silicone trigger mechanisms. Replacement triggers and misters are available online to purchase.
Our roller balls have been designed to minimize leakage, however, it is important to keep in mind that they are a dispensing tool and some minor leakage may occur. Ensuring your lids are on securely and storing your bottles in an upright position will help to minimize any leakage. Using a travel case (such as our EVA roller case) can also help with proper storage and minimize leakage. For roller balls that are a bit tight and don’t roll smoothly, we recommend to “lube ‘em and love ‘em”, by adding a bit of fractionated coconut oil and applying pressure with your thumb while rolling. This generally helps to loosen them up. Replacement roller ball tops are available for purchase on the website.

Yes, anyone can come in and pick up your order for you! We ask that you send us a heads up email notifying us. We will also require a signature and contact information from them when the order is released. If you are picking up a group of orders for others we ask that you please have a list of all the names.

Returned items must be in the original packaging, unused and in the same condition as received. For your protection we recommend all returns be sent back by a traceable carrier. Please report your damaged or defective products within 10 days of the original purchase date. My Essential Business will cover the costs to replace your item.
