3 Ways to Use Epsom Salts for a Much Needed Self Pamper Session

Epsom salt is a household staple for any wellness enthusiast! It has natural anti-inflammatory properties & is commonly used to soothe sore muscles & stiff joints. You can find Epsom salt, a variety of carrier oils & other raw materials on our website here.  

Keep reading for three simple recipes to incorporate into your evening routine:


Body Scrub

Use this scrub to remove dead skin & moisturize your body. Gently massage the scrub over your body in circular motions before hoping in the bath (salts will dissolve in water) or rinsing off in the shower. Epsom Salt is very coarse, making it fantastic for an occasional deep cleanse. You can also opt for brown or granulated sugar for a less abrasive scrub that can be used more frequently.


  • 1/2 cup Epsom salts (available here)
  • 1-3 tbsp carrier oil (available here)
  • Essential Oils: 3 drops Grapefruit + 1 drop Geranium + 1 drop Peppermint

Bath Soak

Take some time for yourself, you deserve it! Disconnect from your phone, grab a book or listen to a podcast or ambient music as you relax in the bath. This recipe is guaranteed to soothe your mind & muscles before bed. Make sure to mix this recipe together prior to adding it to a tub of warm water & enjoying! 

  • 1/2 cup Epsom salts (available here)
  • 1-3 tbsp carrier oil (available here)
  • 1/2 cup baking soda (optional)
  • Essential Oils: 3 drops Blue Tansy + 3 drops Cedarwood

Foot Soak

If you aren't a bath person, this one's for you! Treat yourself to a little self pamper session. This feels AMAZING after a tough workout or long day on your feet. Combine ingredients into a smooth mixture before adding it to a small basin of warm water. Rub your feet together to remove dead skin before the salts dissolve & then sit back & let your feet soak for about 15-20 minutes.
