diy after sun spray recipe to sooth your skin

Let’s be honest, we've all stayed out in the sun just a little too long or forgotten to re-apply our sunscreen. Our skin has definitely taken its share of over-exposure. This After Sun Spray is top on our list as it’s cooling, soothing and helps to repair our tender skin after a long day in the sun.

recipe

120 ml glass bottle with mister/mini trigger spray
1-2 tbsp aloe gel juice (moisturizes)
10 drops lavender (soothing)
10 drops tea tree (soothing)
5-10 drops peppermint (cooling)
5-10 drops frankincense (regenerates)
1/2 cup witch hazel

Step 1: Add aloe vera gel juice to a 120ml (4oz) spray bottle (like our amber bottles with black misters) Double the recipe for a 240ml (8oz) spray bottle. Start with 1 tbsp (or less). Some people find aloe vera to be too sticky. Start small and add until you reach the consistency that works for you.

Step 2: Add the essential oils

Step 3: Add 1/4 cup of witch hazel and secure top tightly. Shake well to ensure that everything is mixed well.

Step 4: Add the remaining witch hazel, secure the top tightly and shake again.

Shake before each use. For added cooling, store in the fridge until use.
